Paddle Board Care

Follow these 7 steps to maximize the lifespan of your paddle board:

  • Never exceed the maximum recommended PSI – Over inflating stresses seams and drop-stitch fabric, which can shorten your board’s life.
  • Deflate by 2 PSI when not in use – Especially in full sun or hot weather, this prevents heat expansion from over-pressurizing the board.
  • Check and tighten your valve regularly – Use the included valve tool to stop slow leaks and maintain performance.
  • Do not car-top your board while inflated – Wind pressure and vibrations can damage seams and valves.
  • Rinse with fresh water after use – Salt, sand, and debris can degrade PVC and hardware if left to dry on the board.
  • Avoid rolling too tightly – Over-compressing can cause creases in the PVC and weaken internal threads.
  • Winter storage: slightly inflated, stored flat – Keep it out of direct sunlight and above 5°C to protect materials.

Proper care not only extends your SUP’s lifespan but also keeps it performing like new for every paddle.
